Every stem, ribbon, wrapping, and decorative element influences the final feeling of a creation. That is why I try to choose materials carefully and intentionally, with a focus on natural textures and a soft, organic look.

Dried grasses, preserved flowers, delicate branches, paper, ribbons, and simple finishing details can create a beautiful and refined result without feeling artificial. I love when a piece feels elegant, slightly wild, and close to nature at the same time.

Drying, foraging, and experimenting

Besides the flowers and materials I purchase, I also love experimenting with drying certain species myself. This process is slow, sometimes unpredictable, and always full of small surprises.

Not every flower dries in the same way. Some keep their shape beautifully, some change colour, and some become more delicate than expected. This is part of what makes the process so interesting. It allows me to observe the natural character of each plant and discover new textures, forms, and possibilities.

I also forage some materials myself, always with care and respect for nature. A branch, a grass, a seed pod, or a small seasonal detail can bring something very personal into a floral piece. These found elements often add a sense of place, season, and quiet wildness.
